The 2008 Annual General Meeting has established an IACA Technical Committee to advise the IACA Executive, Committee and National Access Class Associations regarding class rules and technical matters. It will also consider applications for replacement or additional equipment.
The Technical Committee will be convened by the IACA Vice-President Rules & Measurement as Chairman, and include Class Representatives for the Access 2.3, Access 303, Access Liberty, SKUD 18 and any other classes that may be adopted by the IACA. Additional expert members of the Committee may be co-opted with approval of the IACA Executive or General Meeting.
A new process to make applications for replacement or additional equipment has been put in place. See the application forms below. It is preferable if any request for replacement or additional equipment comes with a recommendation from the National Access Class Association. The IACA Technical Committee has authority to approve, reject or make recommendations regarding applications. A register of approved equipment is also displayed on the IACA website.
